Cost: $No cost for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Cari Ebert, MS, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist in private practice in the Kansas City, MO area. She is an ASHA approved provider. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 1993 and her master’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1995. Cari is a therapist, consultant, author, product developer, and nationally recognized speaker who gets paid to do what she loves most -TALK! She has an animated personality, and this translates to high-energy speaking style. Cari has a son with autism, allowing her to engage audiences both as professional and as a parent of neurodivergent child.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Explain how you children with developing brains and bodies learn best.
2. Describe the development benefits of play-based learning in early childhood.
3. List 3 strategies for establishing mindful screen time habits at home.

Cancellation Policy
It is our goal to provide trainings as scheduled. If a training is cancelled for any reason the region will attempt to email registered participants as well as post the change on the trainings page of the region website.
The region is committed to providing quality training experiences. When a registered participant does not attend it often prevents another participant from having the opportunity. Please call us at 712-328- 5645 by 12:00 pm the day prior to the training if needed to cancel a registration. If the training is on a Monday please contact us by 12 pm on Friday. If the aforementioned notice is not given you will be charged a minimum of $25.00 (this includes trainings with no registration fee).
